Streaming has two separate problems, and they need different fixes. The first is the service's own region wall: the catalogue depends on which country you appear to be in. The second is ISP-side throttling: in the evening, video traffic is recognised by its characteristic profile and has its bandwidth cut, which is how 4K collapses into 480p. Logrus covers both: you pick the country by hand, and the traffic itself does not look like video, so it never trips the evening limiter.

The shaping profile mixes in padding and reshapes the packet-size distribution, so the ISP's heuristic never classifies the flow as video and never cuts the bandwidth.

- Is there enough bandwidth for 4K?
- Whether a plan caps speed, and at what value, is shown on the pricing page — that figure comes from the catalogue, not from this text. 4K normally needs about 25 Mbit/s.
- Why does video stall in the evening without the VPN but not with it?
- Because the evening throttle applies to traffic identified as video. Inside the tunnel the traffic profile is different and the rule never fires.
- Can I watch on a TV?
- Yes — install the client on your router and the whole household goes through the tunnel, including the TV and the set-top box, which have no VPN client of their own.
- Can the service tell that I am on a VPN?
- It can. We keep no separate address pool for streaming, and we will not promise that a given service cannot spot a VPN — those lists are not ours to control. If an address has been listed, write to support: we will move you to another location, and if that does not help, you get a refund within 30 days.
